Well, I am super late the this party for sure. There are too many people talking all about Downton Abbey to not pay attention. I missed the beginning season, so that always means buying DVDs later on and watching them all at once. My parents even are watching, so I know it must be good. I downloaded Season 1 last night on iTunes and am watching them right now. It is so good and I can't believe how much they pack in each episode.
It didn't help that my cable company listed the show under Masterpiece Classic instead of Downton, that had a little to do with the delay in getting started. I might post again with questions..I am sure there are a bunch of you who know all the answers...
I am also super sick with a horrendous cold, so the timing is perfect...laying on my couch with my computer propped up in perfect distance for optimal viewing!
I am in love with these new Kleenex cool touch. They are amazing!

Love Downton Abbey... I purchased the first season and am watching the second Sunday nights - the Masterpiece title on cable threw me too. I just finished Below Stairs (1968) by Margaret Powell - a really interesting book that was part of Julian Fellowes' inspiration for creating Downton Abbey. There was also a recent documentary on this period/lifestyle - I think it was called Inside the Manor House or something like that.
LOVE LOVE Downton! :) My mom just watched all of Season 1 on Saturday. xo
