One of my many New Year's Resolutions is to finish the many projects that I have started and let go. One of these is needlepoint and my many, many projects. There has been a lot of chatter on this blog about needlepoint, so if this is of no interest to you, so sorry...
My Mom and I went through my bag and pulled out the ones that she can finish for me, but she rejected a few that I gave her on Thanksgiving. I apparently did not put enough of an edge on these ornaments to give her room to sew, so she gave them back for me to keep stitching!
This Nantucket canvas is so cute..I am going to put it on the cover of a photo album with green and white check fabric...
I am ditching this mitten idea and making it square with sparkly red ornaments on it
I think this one made me need glasses at the time, so it was put away
This Santa needs a beard...
My favorite..Homecoming Princess-just needs another eye and the roses stitched. I stitched this one in less than a week and then got sidetracked and it has been sitting in my needlepoint tote bag for about 7 years!!!!
I made this in honor of my Grandfather, who LOVED penguins.
And when I get caught up, these are the canvases that I am dying to work on...
This one from Needlepoint of Back Bay in Boston..it is so cute.
I might add the word "Seasons" above the Greetings on this one..
These cute Christmas trees are from Ebay and are only around $10 - $14 each..there are tons on there!
Eye Candy Needeart, also an Ebay purchase
and dozens of angels and more Santas.
I am hoping that admitting my needlepoint craziness on this blog and challenging myself to finish these half done ornaments with all my readers as witnesses will help get the job done.
Next up, my photo albums!!!
